Locust Valley Residence

March 12, 2020 by CeCe

Setting the stage for a private two-acre residence required careful screening. This client also requested a new horse-shoe shaped driveway with front parking, and a rear terrace for entertaining. When the interior living area expanded recently, we adapted the original terrace and added a barbecue area. For the owners’ and their grand-children, a pool was placed in the rear, preserving screening from the neighbors; the pool enclosure, required by code, was designed from several fence types, including chain link fence in the woods, stockade fence, and a stone wall with wood fence topper and two decorative gates. Finally, a low-maintenance azek pergola was added to the pool terrace for additional shade.
